The upcoming Entwine album is finally finished! 12 songs were recorded, and 10 of them ends up on the album entitled as "Fatal Design". See the tracklist below.

The first single release is of the song "Surrender", the b-side being occupied by "Hearts of Frozen Stone". One more completed song remains left over, but is possibly used as a bonus track or on the b-side of 2nd single, if one is released. You think Entwine's out of map since nothing has happened lately? No live shows, no nothing? Well, guess again. The band is currently in the middle of recording their yet untitled 5th full-lenght album due to release August 23rd 2006. The plan is to record 13 songs, 12 of them being new as there will be a re-make of "Break Me". However, the forthcoming album will probably include 11 songs. New Entwine hymns were put together at record speed, during only just few weekends, due to busy schedules of members. Gladly, this doesn't affect the quality at all, in fact the boys and a girl agree that the songs sound very promising indeed. Well, we'll hear about that in few months.
Certain is that the team hassling around the record know what they're doing. The album is being recorded at Petrax and Groveland studios by Entwine's very own drummer boy Aksu Hanttu who is nowadays very much employed in the field. Producer guy Janne Joutsenniemi is known to many from the ranks of legendary Stone and latterly Sub Urban Tribe. The tracks will be mixed in the subtle care of Finnvox's Mikko Karmila who is highly appreciated for his work with Nightwish, Children of Bodom, and many others. Mastering is probably going to take place at Stockholm's Cutting Room.
Recordings have been going really well so far and knowing these guys, with couple of relaxing evening beers of course. Mika is currenty working on his vocal parts. [view studio pictures]

SHAMRAIN: DEEPER INTO THE NIGHT - MCD

A new SHAMRAIN release is put out by Firebox Records April 5th in Finland and April 17th abroad. Follower to bands 2005 album "Someplace Else" represents bands ethereal dark rock more diverse than before. New material varies from beautiful, silent songs into more rocking tunes.

Good news to all Entwine fans and fellows! The band releases an EP throughout Europe on 10th of August, entitled as 'Sliver'. It'll consist of two new songs, one cover and two live songs. Tracklist can be viewed above.

27/09/04 Germany can once again enjoy the bitter sweet taste of Entwine's rockin' music! The band will hit the road together with german Xandria(headliner) and finnish Lab for a tour that'll last for ten days. And all of you should also know the trip ain't no vacation, since they will rock the stage every single night during the ten days. 22/03/04 Two weeks has passed since "diEversity" was released in Finland. On the first week, the new album climbed up to 11th position in the finnish album chart! On the second week, the fall wasn't so hard; the album firmly grasped the 17th position. Now the 3rd week has begun, so let's see if the charts can hold the heavy load of rock'n roll that "diEversity" is definitely made of.

18/02/04 Tuore single "BitterSweet" singahti Suomen sinkkulistan kolmannelle sijalle ensimmäisen viikon aikana. Tuloillaan oleva levy "diEversity" on Yle-X:n 'viikon levy' tulevalla viikolla. Eli kannattaa pitää radio auki, sillä joka päivä Yle-X soittaa yhden (eri) biisin ko. levyltä.

Shortly in english: The new single "BitterSweet", reached 3rd position in Finland's single chart. Finnish radio station Yle-X selected "diEversity" as the "album of the week". The whole next week they're playing a song from the album, each day a different song.

09/08/03 Entwine rientää syyskuussa tutulle Astia-studiolle uuden albumin nauhoituspuuhiin. Tuottajana häärii jälleen Anssi Kippo. Aikaisemmasta poiketen, levyn miksaus tapahtuu Finnvoxilla herra Karmilan alaisuudessa. Uusi Entwine-harkko julkaistaan ensi vuoden alkupuolella.
ENG: Entwine will start the recordings of their new album in September at familiar Astia-studio. Again the album will be produced by Anssi Kippo. Depart from the previous releases, this one will be mixed at Finnvox-studios by Mr Karmila. The new Entwine album will be released in the beginning of next year.

03/08/03 Entwine's frontman Mika is sharing his vocal talent in a band called Sham Rain. Sound clips of this atmospheric rock music can be heard at band's website www.shamrain.cjb.net. Their debut album will be released before end of this year.

Entwine will start recording their new album in January 2002 at Astia-studio, Lappeenranta, Finland. It'll be produced by Anssi Kippo(like all prev. Entwine albums). New (yet untitled) album will be released in Finland spring -02, in other countries a bit later . A single will be released before the full length. More information about the album will be added later..
