I think German is a great language. But it's not necessarily a pleasant language. It's very rough and gutteral. Apparently opera singers who sing in German suffer a lot of damage to their vocal chords.
But German is perfect for metal/hard rock music, it fits the style.
German is one of those languages you can have a lot of fun with. I love reading german text out loud. I really wish I was fluent in that language.
And yes, Caligula is the best emperor ever. He was just plain crazy! But Caracalla was sexy. _________________ Be all that you can be in the Gummy Army! |

but they do it well - can't you remember their Depceche Mode cover 'stripped'? it's one of their best songs, I think.
By the way - do youn Non-Germans know a band called Wolfsheim? _________________ ~ carry your cross and I'll carry mine ~ |

Rammstein's version of "Stripped" was awesome! I like it better than Depeche Mode's version because it sounds so much darker and creepier. That song was my favourite off the tribute album. _________________ Be all that you can be in the Gummy Army! |
