have all these gigs been in the city you live or do you just travell a lot? |
I live in Bern and here there are hardly any gigs. Might have been about 5 the last few years *g*. Usually I travel around in Switzerland. It's a small country so it's not a problem to travel around. Also there's a strong death metal scene so there are a lot of gigs. Our metal mecca is the Z7 which is in the north of the country about 100km away from here. There are quite many gigs and I take the most pics there as well. A quite a big place
But I also do travel a lot. Visited festivals and gigs in Belgium, Germany, France, Holland, Italy and Austria for now . I don't mind traveling especially when it's about bands I really like and about people who mean a lot to me. _________________

I've only been to 2 concerts ever but the best one was last year in September when I saw Radiohead. I'm such a big fan and I was curious to see how they would play their songs live since their albums are so complex. I was at the very, very back and I could barely see but the concert was amazing. The songs sounded complete even though they were stripped down and they still had their intensity. In a way a lot of songs sounded even better live and were even more intense. Thom Yorke and the rest of the band get so involved in their music that it involves the audience. I had a great time. _________________ Be all that you can be in the Gummy Army! |

Nightwish in Nottingham Rock City, UK. I met Tuomas before the gig and he was really nice. We gave him a For My Pain flyer and he was impressed we'd heard them. He emailed the admin of the For My Pain UK site recently saying we'd done a good job, made my friend feel good Aww, I heart Tuomas.
Anyways, yeah it rocked. I got Emppu's beer and Jukka's drumstick, and gave my boyfriend Jukka's drumstick. Then some cow at security took away Emppu's beer, so I ended up with nothing. Poo! _________________
