Since there seem to be some new users (I mean people who weren't posting on the old board), it would be cool to find out something about you. Just write down something about yourself, what you're doing and anything else you think would be worth mentioning

good idea - i noticed in the profile section you can't actually put your sex and age...that's kinda weird. you already know me, eos, but here's my stuff again!

i'm serena, age 23, female (obviously), into goth/progressive metal, love coffee, love university. i've liked entwine since the gone album. hmmm...what else to say - it's hard to sum up your whole life into a little blurb! i don't work, but i'm spending the summer studying up on my languages so i can do my master's program in europe - hopefully helsinki, if i decide to switch to philology. Very Happy

I'm from Germany and I finish school in some weeks.
I'm 19 years old.
My hobbies are having fun with friends, music, literature and some other things

Something more? Ah yes, I've got a nickname similar to the poster of the topic so remember - I'm Eol - he/she (?) ist Eos

what is the significance of eol (and eos too, for that matter? i've always wondered...)? does it stand for something?

Eol means nothing special, it's taken from J.R.R. Tolkien's Silmarillion - a Dark Elf's name is Eol, there - and I liked it so this is way I have this nickname.

Well since Eos is the greek goddess of dawn, it's a "she" *bows*. My two cameras are EOS as well but I got the nickname long before I even thought of taking pictures *g*

Okay, so you know that I'm female *g*. I'm 24 and I live in Switzerland (but not swiss at all! *ggg*). I'm studying biology (finishing the master in January) but unfortunatelly I lost the interest into it long ago. At the moment I'm kind of married to my site www.metalpics.ch *g*. I'm also taking pics for a swiss magazine. After the university I would like to work full time for a magazine, taking pics and writing.. well, we all may have some dreams *g*. The little time I have left beside the pics, I'm spending mostly with getting some money on my Finland account and with visiting loads of gigs. Hope that I can also finally get some time and work a bit on my Entwine fan site which deserves much more attention than I can offer at the moment
This summer I'm going to Finland for the second time and - not having to mention actually - I'm excited as hell!!! *ggg*

Ok, maybe you have a look at my homepage to find out some more facts
But to tell you some more - I like reading fantasy books like the Lord of the Rings (that was obvious, sure ^^), Dragonlance or Anne Rice's Vampire-Chronicles.
Actually I'm reading a book of Tad Williams which is called 'stone of farewell'.

eos: i'm kicking myself over here - i actually know ancient greek (required for my major), but i didn't even think to connect your nickname to the goddess.

if we're discussing books, i'm currently reading the anita blake series by laurell k. hamilton. the grammar is often poor, the heroine frequently annoys me, and the first half of the series was hardcore violence, the second half is all sex - why do i read it though? because there aren't very many books that are about vampires, werewolves, monsters and supernatural magic outside of anne rice (yuck) and romance novels (double yuck!). so, if you're into all that, give it a try! it's my guilty summer pleasure.

okay, i should qualify the anne rice comment - her later books 'yuck'. the early vampire chronicles were really good - i only started to dislike them when they got a little too metaphysical/spiritual, however you want to put it. the mayfair witch series was really good too.

I've just started reading Anne Rice's books and till now I like them very much.
Maybe you like the books of the German author Wolfgang Hohlbein?
He has also a great collection of Vampire books.

okay, now something about me ...

... i'm 20 and i live in vienna <- i don't like it at all, but well ... i'm doing a college right now - multimedia, which is very interestig, at least it should be but teachers aren't very able to teach it in an interesting way Confused

... i'm ready in, hmm, one month, yeah ... but i will go to university in autumn, if i pass the entrance examination ... that means, plenty of work in summer ...
... what else ... my biggest dream is to work in the music business when i'm ready with education, cause i'm really addicted to music ...

... i started learning finnish last autumn ... very difficult, i'm afraid i won't ever be able to speak fluently ... but at least it's always very funny and i met some nice people who have the same interests i have ...
... this summer i'm going to finland and i'm really looking forward ...

HI! my name's Tiina an I'm a kinda new Entwine fan, i've liked them only since diEversity, cos i hadn't heard their music before.And i guess I wouldn't have liked then, if i had heard them, cos I listened to some awful pop when their older albums were reliesed. an what more can I say... i'm maybe the youngest here, or how old you all are? over 20? my fav' song is Blood of your soul, it's fantastic. i'm not even sure, am I sending this message to the place where it was meant to but however. you'll get to now me better later, see ya

I study social economy at the university.Sometimes i work,but now i am a mama boy almost totally dependent to the parents. Crying or Very sad

Finland is my passion i have been there 3 times and that summer will be the 4 time;i'm going to see Tammerfest and Tuska;my fav. place is Rovaniemi i want to live there!!!!
