Huhuh everybody!!
We just came back from Nummirock. It was awsome!! The festival was really cool (great bands in a wood at a lake with a sauna for the bands Very Happy ) tho there are some finnish rules one really has got to get used to.. for example you can take your beer into the area but on the area you can only buy the beer in the beertent (entry only for 18 and up.. and of course they didn't want to let me in once .. guess I should take it as a compliment.. or something *lol*). You cannot enter the beertent with your own beer and you are not allowed to exit if you have a beer in your hands *gg*.. oh well, back to the relevant things :
We left Lahti Friday morning so we were there both days, watching Rotten Sound (*thumbs up*), Morbid Angel (bad sound, tho better than in Switzerland in March), Charon (coooool, hehe!), Machine Men (were really good, tho not my style), Viikate (another cool finnish band), Stratovarius (ahem.. oh well.. *gg*), Mokoma (*moshmosh*) and Lordi (funny to watch and catchy music).
Saturday there weren't that many gig of my taste but therefore bands I really love Very Happy . Starting with Ensiferum in the "morning". The guys did a really good gig and rocked the stage! For a part of the gig Jari (old singer) joined them on the microphone which obviously really pleased to the crowd *g*. Their gig ended with a cover version of "Breaking the law" (think it was thatone.. my poor old brain *gg*)..
Then my climax of the weekend!!! Entwine entered the stage at 8pm. The sound was really good and the guys (and of course the girl ) were in a really good mood. The crowd was cool and obviously there were loads of people who knew the lyrics Very Happy . One huge compliment to Toni the light guy! Even tho it was still quite a lot of daylight (as actually during the whole night *g*) the lights were quite intense and created a cool atmosphere on the stage. Of course that just made me take even more pics, haha. There are really loads of!! I will give my best to post them online asap but I'm affraid you'll have to wait till I get back home.. I don't remember the setlist exactlly so before I start to babble around I will check it out again and then post it here . As well as Ensiferum, Entwine ended their set with a cover.. POOOOIIISOOOOOOONNNN!!!!! *shouting* hihihi!!... After the gig (actually before as well *g*) we went to a sauna.. that's really the only real thing you can do on a rainy day!! Thumbs up for that!!
Ah, yeah, Katatonia played on Saturday as well.. I took some pics just for albninoni so I really hope you will appreciate the burden I took for you *runsaway... gggg*
The festival was ended by Timo Rautiainen and Trio Niskalaukaus (gee, what a spelling *gg*). They seemed quite good and actually not as boring as people told me they would be.. or was it because of the beer..?? *gg*.. okay, I think it's time for me to get some rest *g*.. I will try to write some more detailed review during those days

Cheers!
Shelley

yeah i guess so. if it would be like in Kangasala, about 10 km from the centrum of tampere, i could escape there and the wouldn't even notice i was gone. but this aitolahti is so far that i'd need someone to take me by car.

If you're asking if I met the guys..? I was there with them, so yes, I made it to the backstage as well

They're playing in Imatra tonight and KoriaRoll tomorrow. I won't see the tonight's gig but expect loads of pics from Koria again, hehe.
