Since Entwine had a gig in Imatra on Friday and the bus was allready full, we (the girls, including some hangovers and a flu *g*) went to Koria Saturday afternoon by car. The first problem was to find the festival area.. Strange how big sometimes a small place like Koria can be *g* (Koria: about 9km away from Kouvola.. south I think)..
When we arrived there we realized that the organizers in Imatra were way too nice considering the amount of beer *ggg*. Nevertheless the band was in a good mood . Just 15min after we conquered the area Norther started their gig. It was nice to see them on stage again and it was a cool gig.. still, I prefer Pete with Ensiferum..
It was 18:10 when Entwine entered the stage. At that time it seemed like the guy up there responsible for the weather liked us. It was clowdy but still here and there the sun dropped a smile at us . Even tho there were not that many people around, they did a lot of noise and the atmosphere in the front rows was great . Again, the lights were amazing (and again, thumbs up for Toni) and the sound was really good (those finnish soundguys should spread themselves around a bit in the rest of Europe, hehe). The setlist was actually the same as on Nummirock:
- Someone To Blame
- Thru The Darkness
- Losing The Ground
- Bleeding For The Cure
- Still Remains
- The Pit
- Time Of Despair
- Bitter Sweet
- Frozen By The Sun
- Six Feet Down Below
- Snow White Suicide / Skin (Madonna cover)
It must have been around "Time Of Despair" when the weather guy up there started to get seriously incontinent.. it was raining cats and dogs!! Still, the rows remained full and some people even seemed to enjoy the free cold shower *gg*
After "Skin" the gig seemed to be over. Still some people obviously knew about the Poison cover and obviously they reeeaaally wanted to hear it *g*. After a short moment the band went back on stage and played the Alice Cooper song (thanks @ Tanja ) . Once again, the crowd thanked with singing, screaming and some headbanging .
Since the rain didn't really stop for the rest of the evening and the frontstage wasn't covered I decided not to take any pics anymore.. too big risk for the camera was allready getting wet during Entwine . Still, the other bands did some great shows: Suburban Tribe (the Faith No More cover ruled!! ), Apulanta (really cool show!!! did they managed it to find a female vampire?? *g*) and Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus (gee, I will never learn that name by heart *g*). Actually we didn't see a lot of the last band for we decided to go back to Lahti where there was an after show party at Aksu's place. What shold I say about that.. hmm, there was a lot of beer *ggg* _________________ Giving up is easy

*gg* What should I tell.. *gg*.. we drank a lot, listened to Pantera, Machine Head and Paradise Lost (and I tortured some people with No Return and Occult, hihihi), went to bed somewhen between 8 and 10am and woke up with a solid hangover *g*.
I remember that someone was taking pics with my pocket camera.. but don't ask me who or if they got well (considering the state of some people I doubt that you will see something on the pics *g*).. I'll let ya know when I get them
Today I'm off to Helsinki. Saturday I'll be in Imatra for Finntroll, Wednesday in Tampere for Entwine and then it's Tuska time _________________ Giving up is easy

HEEEEEII!!!!! *bigbigsqueesie* hihihi!!
Of course I remember thatone as well . It's just that Aksu was trying to make me say löyly for about 5min when we were at the sauna in Timmu's (spelling?) place *gg*. He was really trying his best to explain the spelling, the pronounciation and the meaning _________________ Giving up is easy
