Hello everyone, I know there is an "other bands" topic, but I was wondering what everyones' top 5 favorite albums are. I guess i shall start the list.
1. To/Die/For "Jaded"
2. Entwine "Dieversity"
3. Darkseed "Diving into Darkness"
4. Paradise Lost "Host"

It's hard to in right order, but my Top5 list would probably be something like this:
1. Sentenced - Frozen
2. Entwine - Time Of Despair
3. Sentenced - The Cold White Light & Down
4. Entwine - DiEversity
5. Charon - The Dying Daylights & Downhearted & Tearstained
As you can see, I'm a blond so I can't decide |

i can't make any top5 list, my cd's really suck... honestly, i have only about 5 cd's i like... 55 i don't like...
but the best right now is definitely "Nightwish - Once", though it's new, but... usually i like new cd's and i get bored to the old ones...
but when I get my confirmation money, i'll buy about 10 cd's or depends on how much i'll get, ifi 'll get 150 euro, like i hope, it means about 10cd's... |

2. Entwine "DiEversity"
3. HIM "Razorblade Romance"
4. Lacuna Coil "Unleashed Memories"
5. Icon and the Black Roses (ST)/Nightwish "Once" (it's a tie )
and the list changes daily.

Hmm maybe it's only my theory but Don't you think that without Crimson bands like Him and 69Eyes would have been less inspired,in my opinion they stole a lot from Crimson......that is a good thing cos means that Sentenced are the leaders

Maybe you're right, I haven't thought it that way But why isn't Sentenced as "popular" as Him and The 69 Eyes?! I mean that Sentenced is well known abroad but in Finland it has never reached the same popularity than Him. Most of my friends haven't even heard of Sentenced...  |

that's so true... i heard about sentenced from my Turkey/ turkish or what ever friend... it's so embarrassing to be finnish and know less about finnish bands than some americans etc. But that's why i use all my time to know more |

| HIM are more "accessible" I think. They get a lot more radio play than a lot of metal bands because they could appeal to a lot more than just metal fans. Bands like Sentenced often appeal only to the metal lovers. |

I don't know am i a "metal lover",but i do like Sentenced, it's one of my favourite bands. though i usually say that I listen to metal, i think that my metal is almost like pop. you know Entwine, Charon, Lullacry, Sentenced, Nightwish... or are they like pop? usually when I listen to them, i'm thinking "and this is the music i call metal?" |
